FAQs

What should I bring when I visit the clinic?

You should bring the following documents with you to your doctor’s appointment:

  1. Proof of identification. Singaporeans and PR’s should bring their NRIC, or have access to their National Digital Identity Card through their Singpass app. If you are not Singaporean or PR, please bring your passport or equivalent proof of identification.
  2. Insurance card. If you have an insurance card issued by your employing company, please bring this with you.
  3. Doctor’s referral letter. If you have been referred by another doctor, please bring the doctor’s referral letter with you. This will help us update your referring doctor, and may also be necessary to make the relevant insurance claim.

Can I use insurance to pay for my clinic visit?

Yes, you can use both your Integrated Shield Plan and Medisave as long as a tabled surgical procedure is performed. Examples of such procedures include nasal endoscopy (commonly performed for nasal symptoms), laryngeal stroboscopy (usually performed for hoarseness), and ultrasound-guided needle aspiration (usually for neck lumps).

In most cases you do not need to be admitted to hospital for the above procedures, as we are a licensed day-surgery centre.

Can I use my integrated shield plan if the doctor is not on my insurance panel?

Our specialists are on the panel or extended panel of Integrated Shield Plans (Private Hospital Plan) of most of the local insurers (AIA, Singlife, AXA/HSBC Life, Great Eastern, Income, Prudential, Raffles Health Insurance).

If the specialist is not on the panel, you can still use your integrated shield plan. If you need clarification check with us and if necessary we can put you in touch with an insurance specialist who can assess your situation and liaise with your insurer if needed.
