April 16 is World Voice Day!

Voice is an important part of healthy and effective communication, and World Voice Day is there to encourage people who use their voice for pleasure or work to learn how they can take care or their voice and know how to seek help when the voice is not working.

In the midst of the current coronavirus pandemic, physical distancing may be necessary, but having a healthy voice is as important as ever as we communicate increasingly by phone and video calls.

If you are having difficulty with your voice, but are unsure what to do, please contact the clinic by phone or email. It may not be necessary at this stage to come down immediately to the clinic, and we can arrange a video call if needed. There is also a resource discussing some of the medical aspects of voice problems and what we usually do about them, on my website.

Happy Voice Day!
